Your purchase gives you a personal licence to use our presets, loops and sounds in your own musical compositions, including commercial releases, without paying additional royalties to TuneCraft Sounds for that use.

This licence does not allow you to share or redistribute the original files, or to use our products or sounds derived from them to create competing products in any form. Please see the licence restrictions below.

Installation depends on the version of Serum you use. Follow the appropriate step-by-step guide:

If your download comes as a ZIP archive, extract it first. Also follow any installation instructions included with your pack.

You can browse our website and blog and access free content without an account. An account is required to place an order. You can log in to an existing account or create one during checkout.

Please use a valid email address, as your order confirmation and download links will be sent there. Keep your login details confidential.

Our products are delivered as digital downloads. Once your payment is confirmed, download links are sent to the email address you provided at checkout. Payment processing times may vary.

If you do not receive your download email, please check your spam folder. If you still need help, contact us with your order details.

Payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal, depending on the payment method you choose. These payment providers handle the information needed to complete your transaction in accordance with their security and privacy policies.

When you purchase a Tunecraft Sounds product, you are purchasing a LICENSE to use the sounds within your musical compositions. The original producer of the sounds will always remain the OWNER of the sounds.

We offer samples and loops in WAV format, MIDI files, and preset packs for instruments such as Serum 1, Serum 2, Massive and Cthulhu.

Formats, audio specifications and software requirements vary by product. Please check the individual product page for the included formats and required software versions before purchasing.

Some of our products are quite large in file size and may take some time to download on a slower internet connection. In the case that you have used up all of your downloads and your download is incomplete please don’t hesitate to contact us.

In the case of an unzipping error this generally has to do with an incomplete download or in the case of Windows users, we recommend 7-zip free utility as a reliable unzipping software.

All our products are digital downloads, so no physical return is required. We do not offer unconditional refunds for a change of mind once downloading has begun.

For EU consumers, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies. This right ends when digital supply begins before that period expires, provided you have expressly consented to immediate supply, acknowledged the loss of your withdrawal right, and received confirmation of your agreement.

Your statutory rights relating to faulty or non-conforming digital content remain unaffected, including any refund required by applicable law.

If you purchased the wrong product or encountered a problem, please contact us with your order number and explain the situation. We review requests individually and may offer an exchange or refund as a goodwill gesture. This is not an automatic entitlement.

If a purchase is refunded, the licence to use the refunded content ends.

No. Our demo tracks are provided to preview our products and are not licensed for reuse in your own music. They may contain sounds or other elements from third-party libraries.

Please use the files included in your purchased pack, in accordance with its licence.

Absolutely. Just as long as you follow the guidelines above – i.e. you use the sounds within your own compositions – that’s fine. Our samples are there to be used!

Your licence is personal to you. You may use our sounds and presets in your own musical productions, including commercial releases.

You must not share, sell or redistribute the original files. Anyone else wishing to use them must obtain their own licence.

You must not use our products, or sounds recorded, rendered, resampled or otherwise derived from them, to create or distribute competing products, such as sample packs, sound libraries, preset packs or virtual instruments. This restriction applies even if the material has been modified and whether the resulting product is sold or distributed for free.

You are welcome to use the AI-generated visuals provided as bonuses with our packs for commercial purposes, such as creating covers for your songs on streaming platforms.

However, please note that while we offer these visuals to enhance your projects, we cannot guarantee that other customers won’t also utilize them for similar purposes. We encourage you to customize the visuals to make them unique to your brand. Additionally, it’s important to stay informed about the evolving rules and laws regarding the use of AI-generated visuals.

YouTube’s Content ID matching works by finger-printing a piece of sound, video and/or music and storing it in a huge database. Every time a video is uploaded to YouTube, that database is scanned to check if that piece of sound, video and/or music has already been uploaded to YouTube and if so, who the rights holder is and how they control their content.

Sometimes, an artist, producer or musician will use our sounds in their track, and then commercially release the track, which includes uploading to YouTube and claiming the copyright on that track. While they own the copyright on the composition itself, when you use our sounds in your track, you are licensing the sound from us, you do not buy ownership – this is outlined in our Licensing agreement. That means that you cannot claim ownership of our sounds or loops on YouTube, even if it used within a track that you do own.

Often, it is a digital distributor who registers the rights holder of a track when the track is being released, and not the original artist, musician or producer and therefore, they are not aware of the problem or terms violation, so this problem can be complicated.

There are two solutions:

The reference provider, usually the rights holder or their distributor, can exclude the segments containing our non-exclusive sounds or loops from the Content ID reference file through YouTube Studio Content Manager. This is their responsibility and can be done by following YouTube’s official instructions.

Alternatively, those who have had their music flagged by YouTube’s Content ID matching system can dispute the claim.

Unfortunately, given the large size of our back catalogue, and the thousands of tracks that have been made using our sounds, we cannot assist you in any Content ID issues.

Eligible EU business customers can enter their valid EU VAT number at checkout. A VAT exemption may apply after successful validation, depending on the billing country and applicable rules.

VAT numbers are checked through the European Commission’s VIES service. Temporary unavailability of VIES or national databases can delay verification and is outside our control. If verification cannot be completed, please try again later or contact us before placing your order.

Any applicable VAT is shown at checkout before payment.

Because VAT exemptions require objective and verifiable proof of business status, and such proof cannot be reliably obtained for non-EU customers, VAT treatment must follow the default taxation rules applicable under French tax law.

In accordance with articles 259, 283-2 and 279-g of the French Tax Code, and based on guidance from the French tax authorities (BOFiP), Tunecraft Sounds applies the reduced 10% VAT rate applicable to authors’ rights to all sales, except where EU business status is formally validated through a valid VAT number.

This approach ensures full compliance with French and EU VAT regulations while applying the lowest legally applicable VAT rate.
